Is there a way to force Snag-it to always open using the classic capture window? I absolutely hate the drop down in the middle of the screen.

Hey Andrea,

I assume you are referring to the one click interface? If so, yes, you can disable that. You can find instructions on how to do so here: https://support.techsmith.com/entries/23474677-Snagit-Turning-off-the-new-OneClick-the-floating-on-s...

That is it! Can't believe I suffered this past year, with something so simple. Thanks.

Hi Andrea,

I'm sorry to hear that One Click just isn't doing it for you. I'd love to hear more feedback from you to fill in the details and help the team better understand why One Click isn't serving your needs. If you would like to discuss this over the phone, feel free to send me an email at c.ryan@techsmith.com.

Thanks!

Hi Cait,

Here's some feedback for you. I love One Click and have used it for years on a regular basis. In its present incarnation though I don't like it as much. Specifically the little half round constantly gets in the away. I want an option to go back to the line. It was a much better interface and much easier to use. You really should call it Two Click because it takes more effort to use it.

I agree with Manny. The half circle is always in the way. It blocks web browser tabs and is always dropping down when i get anywhere near it. I would rather have a one-click button pinned to the toolbar or just use keyboard shortcuts.

Thank you both for the feedback. Knowing the problems current users have definitely helps us make plans for our future development. Again, if either of you would like to have a more detailed conversation about this, feel free to send me an email.
