combine projects that worked in real?

Dear Camtasia Team,

I have used Camtasia on my previous work and I believe I know it well. It is great tool for education movies, but has one major problem I would ask you to solve it. My colleague argues with me, that Adobe is more professional and wants to use it ...
The major problem is that Camtasia is BAD in combine 2 projects in one. In our movie actually they will be 25-30 different small projects (chapter). The final movie will be combination of those 25 smaller projects. I saw your solution via Library, but it is NOT practical. It worked indeed, but the limitations are too big. When I did a change of durations of one of those small projects – first I can’t save it in Librarfy with same name (to edit it actually) , second – when I open the main project that use this library – duration is NOT auto updated (I try with delete library, then save it with the same name as before). So I need every time to create main projects with drag & drop from those 25 libraries. That is too much time and is NOT acceptable.

It would be ideal – small projects to be able to edit its Library, then when open the Main movie – the use of this library to be auto updated and all its duration to be inserted in timeline, so the starting times of all next objects to be updated too.

I’m programmer and I understand that is not small change. But it is needed, if you pretend that you are tool for serious movies. When I last time make a project 30 minutes long, I found when I need to extend the project with 5 seconds inside middle it is  big big  pain .. all next is moved wrongly, I should make very very small scale to be able to select all.  Won’t do it for next long project that is coming.
I even try to do workaround over this with directly edit your project file (which I see is XML actually). May be you will give me ideas how faster to do this? Or any other way to achieve this?

perhaps consider making each "chapter" it's own video, with all the chapters linked together

I've done this many times with large projects, with excellent results; and, updating one chapter does not affect other chapters

here is an example; this content was originally a single large production, menu driven by a TOC; it's now packaged as separate, linked chapters ...

I understand your answer, it will solve some questions, but will add new. Not sure I could use it in real. Actually it change some of the requirements – sometimes this movie need to be run on local PC, will require customers to click on next chapter, I should review google statistics on 25*3 files instead 1*3 (one movie with 3 subtitres)

Other solution? Manual edit of project file via Notepad?

Camptasia can’t pretend to be serious editing program without such feature ...
