It would be EXTREMELY useful if we could combine several processing steps into one clickable command! (Like a macro).
For example, I often make exactly the same processing steps for a screenshot in Snagit Editor:

1. Trim
2. Add a white border of 10 pixel (using a custom quick-style)
3. Add a specific pre-defined label tag to the image

This would increase the speed of screenshot processing by a factor of 300% - 500%!

Great news, Peter, Snagit can already do this. A profile can be created which will automatically add one or multiple effects, including custom Trim, Boarders, and Captions, to your capture. Here's a tutorial to get you started. http://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-snagit-streamline-with-capture-profiles.html  I hope this helps.

I find it illogical to select a profile BEFORE actually performing a command to make a screenshot (which is logical only from the programmer's point of view).

The most logical workflow from the USER's point of view would be:

1. Press the PrintScreen key
2. The All-In-One Screen Capture process starts as usual.

OR

1. Press the PrintScreen key together with the CTRL key
2. A menu with available Profiles appears at the mouse position
3. The user selects one of the profiles (with the mouse which is fast because of the short distance between mouse pointer and menu items, or with a single accelerator key)
4. The selected Screen Capture profile starts
