Combining projects

I have a new Camtasia 2019 user with a licensed copy on my PC and MAC laptops... I want to make one video that captures mostly my PC screen and another video that captures a little of my MAC screen

so I will have 2 projects saved on the respective computers.    Then I want to know how to combine both projects together to produce one combined video that plays smoothly.  So I could have 30 minutes playing the PC video, then a seamless transition to show 5 minutes of the mac video, then back to show more of the PC video, then back to the MAC video etc..

can you please explain how to do this or provide a resource link with easy to follow steps?

thank you very much!

I assume: On the mac, you have to "File > Export for Windows ..." the project. Then copy the result onto your windows PC and import it there.

I would suggest rendering the Mac project (assuming you started recording on both machines at the same time) and then just bring in the produced clip, to the PC. Sync them up and then do your cuts.

Put the Mac render on one track, with the PC video on a track above or below it. Pretty simple.

If you are not planning to *edit* on both machines, you can bring just the recording itself (the *.trec file) from one platform to the other. For example, if you prefer editing on Mac, you can take the already-saved .trec recording of your Windows computer and transfer it to your Mac (via dropbox?). Then bring that recording into your *project* on Mac.
Or, vice versa.
