We've been adopters of Schoology Enterprise as our LMS, and they've been following IMS Global standards for a good long while.  Schoology also supports SCORM only if you open more ports on your firewall.  The more mainstream file format for elearning is quickly becoming Common Cartridge, which was developed by the IMS Global group:

If Camtasia is going to continue to market toward schools and education, it better catch up quick to the IMS Global standards for exporting self-paced e-learning content.  As Canvas, Blackboard, Schoology and others adopt IMS Global standards, Camtasia may find itself left behind.  For example, I last week saw an entire textbook that was a series of Common Cartridge files uploaded to Schoology.  Check out this YouTube video for an example of what we're seeing as a growing movement for making content for LMSes.

Please bring Common Cartrdige as an export option for videos made with quizzes!
