After seeing a few recent requests for how to configure the thumbnail image/Poster Frame the operating system presents to users, I was attempting to help sort it. Today I stumbled across a bit of software named Mp3tag. This software allows choosing pretty much any image you want and the Windows operating system then presents that image as the video thumbnail/Poster Frame.
Seeing as how this is possible to do and folks are asking for it, I'm suggesting that Camtasia be modified to also allow configuring the desired image. I would hope for the following abilities.
* Allow an ability to choose any frame you want from an existing video. Perhaps when exporting a frame, allow the same dialogs and options to configure this.
* Allow an ability to browse to a totally separate external image and configure it as the thumbnail/Poster Frame.
Thanks for listening! Rick :)
