I have been all over the web trying to figure out how to get Canon 750D (T6i) to talk to camtasia 3. I have read previous posts on this forum. I know that Camtasia 3 does not support non-USB webcams however, I am hoping there is a work around as, like others who have posted previously, I am just trying to cut down the number of steps in recording lectures (powerpoint on green screen).
I have tried the following:

a) Camera Live (github) with Camtwist
b) Canon utility using remote shooting live stream
c) Elgato HD60 S
d) ManyCams

In both the above I have used both HDMI and Mini B cables. No luck so far having the DSLR to show up on Camtasia 3.

Is Elgato CamLink a solution?

I would appreciate if anyone can provide suggestions.

Yes it can be done. I have used a CANON Legria HF R806 to record through OBS studio linked to AVerMedia C985 Live Gamer HD Lite. Record your session and then load it into Camtasia 9 as a media - works perfectly .
