Continuous capturing to same page in OneNote not posssible

Choosing OneNote as a target for saving captures to does allow to select between four options where to insert the capture. While for the "Create new page" option there is a checkbox to always use the same OneNote Section as a target, the "Into existing page" option does not allow to repeatedly save captures into the same page without having to reselect the specific page over and over again. For each capture, one has to choose the OneNote Notebook, the section, and the page again every time one wants to save the screen capture. This becomes very tedious and annoying if lots of screen shots have to be taken which should go onto the same OneNote page.
After configuring a new preset to use OneNote and setting the option to “Into existing page”, every time the assigned hotkey is pressed, two dialog windows show, first “Sending to OneNote”, followed by the “OneNote selection” window. In this second window, the available OneNote notebooks are listed in the same sequence as they show in the OneNote application, the first notebook being automatically selected. One always has to select the notebook to be used if it is not the first, possibly scrolling down each time.
After scrolling down, one needs to
* expand the notebook,
* choose and expand the section, and finally
* select the page to be used,
* followed by a click on “OK”.
This sequence has to be repeated for each and every capture to OneNote. Unbearable!
Looking at the same operation using e.g. a Word file as a target, we all know that TechSmith can do better! Here you only select for example the region of the screen and that’s it. Selection after selection all go into the same Word file automagically.
So, in case I overlooked it: Is there an option to allow a permanent selection of particular target page in a specific OneNote notebook and section? Repeated saving of captures should all go to this page then. Alternatively, one could make the selection of notebook, section and page sticky after it has initially been picked during a capture with the "Into existing page" setting and keep it as long as it is not changed by the user. Kind of an implicit default location configuration.
Please advise if there is a solution which allows saving and appending captures into the same existing OneNote page like this is possible when saving to a Word file for example. Thank you!
