Looks like that’s because of your file name. First try saving with a very simple, short file name. If that works (and I bet it will), you can try a more specific file name that doesn’t include spaces, characters such as an @ sign and other characters that might not be recognized in a file name to narrow down the culprits hindering your save. Good luck!

I have this problem once in a while.  It's terrifying when you have a complicated edit and a client is waiting.

Just today, I tried to "Save As" and that didn't work either so I decided to copy and paste the project into a new project.  I got the error message about "animation collision" which I had never seen before.

So, I painstakingly pasted element by element and found the issue.  One annotation -- "Sketch Motion" -- had two animations in it which Camtasia didn't like.  I built a new identical one and deleted the "infected" one.  Problem solved!

Once I deleted the annotation, I was able to save the original project.

The sad thing is that I placed and animated the original annotation days ago.  It took all this time to develop a problem.  Hmm?!
