Crash when dragging an animated annotation onto the video

When trying to adding an animated annotation, Camtasia 2018.0.1 Windows reproducibly crashes.

Try saving the project and restarting Camtasia.

if you right click the callout and use "add to timeline" [do not drag/drop], does it crash?

I've found that graphics card updates tend to help in these situations. Primarily if you have a discrete/separated video card from the mother board.
