Create annotations?

Is it possible to create my own annotation?  I've used the existing annotation, changed fonts and colors and added a drop shadow effect and want to save the whole thing so it is reusable.  Is there a way to do that?

Have you explored how to use Presets and Favorites in Camtasia 2020?  Here's a little intro to what it's about: https://youtu.be/ZWbTDTPz_BA?t=1277 .

I think if you've created specific annotations with text and other content, you can also add the finished product to your Media Library. Then you can drag from there and reuse. The Media Library supports even multi-track content, with audio, etc. I've saved an entire INTRO with animations, sounds, text, in the library and every time I use it, it plays perfectly. Here's a quick tutorial showing the Media Library usage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVJ3EMtqLHA&list=PL5dqU8ndfeoiU2qBMM9nqhqQj47XXgLLu&index=9

I do have Presets and Favorites.  I just have to keep remembering to drop them all on each thing.  So when I have an annotation, I have pick my favorite annotation, and then the dropshadow.  And for my clips, I place 4 presets.  Would love it if I could just drop one.  right now I just made it a template with all my assets on a hidden video layer that I can copy and paste as needed so I don't have to keep redragging things down.

Sounds to me like the Library functionality is exactly what you need.

Yes!  I tried that as well and looks like it works perfectly.  Thanks, Cristi!
