Create eLearning with Camtasia Studio 8

I have created several .mp4 videos  with Camtasia. I'd like to combine them all into one file to create an eLearning module that includes a table of contents and some quizzes.  What's the most efficient way to do this?  What file format supports quizzes? (I use Camtasia Studio 8)

I quickly discovered that you can't simply import the final (edited) file into a new file. (Wouldn't that be nice?) So I guess that means I either have to import all files and edit them again or re-record everything into one file.  But what output file support quizzes?  Can't seem to find a clear answer for that.  I've tried a couple of options but keep getting the message... this format doesn't support quizzes, etc'.

Also, once I create the file, can I run it off my website or does it have to be housed on screencast?

Thanks much, Marion

Good question! I suggest you posted this review as doubtful for Camtasia support. If you can then post their response here to complement the discussion. Meanwhile other colleagues will give their position about your doubts.

it's all easy to do

use the Library to handle multiple projects that you want to combine together

produce to MP4 with controller; that format supports markers/table of contents, quizzes, interactive hot spots, captions

you can host off any web site, not just Screencast .com [but not YouTube like sites, as they don't support all the interactive content]

have you had a chance to watch the tutorial videos on TechSmith web site?

here is an example of a collection of 29 videos, all with quizzes, that are front-ended with a button-style menu; hosted on my web site ...

FYI, this is a "proof-of-concept project I initially made with early versions of CS 6

Thanks!  I've yet to learn how to use the Library feature.  Just started playing around with the quiz builder. Have viewed some Camtasia videos but not with quizzes. Will take a look.  Thanks again.

you are welcome to browse my collection of Camtasia tutorial videos; use ctl-F to open the search function; look for "Library" items , etc

some of these might be helpful?
