Create straight lines that snap to specific degrees

I'd like to create a straight line using the line callout and have it snap to standard angles (e.g. 0°, 45°, 90°, etc.) when I hold CMD or something like it.

Most of the callouts in C:mac are pretty good, but the line tool is a mystery. The rotation controls don't apply settings intuitively, and, I just can't seem to get a perfect level or vertical line.

Hi Chris,

I just spent some time playing with the line callout. I see what you mean. Maybe it would work more like Snagit Mac? There, you can snap to 0, 45, 90 by holding Shift, and grabbing the one end adjusts the position instead of moving the whole line.

Thanks for sharing this feedback and observation.

I would also appreciate a solution to this question. It is very hard to be certain of a perfectly straight line!

I'd also like the ability to draw lines that snap. The Mac version of the Snagit editor is not as full-featured as the Windows version. I do hope this is fixed before long.
