I'm trying to insert a hyperlink to a camtasia video. It appears to work when the movie plays in HTML but I need the publish the files to an MP4 format. Has anyone has any success creating hyperlinks and publishing to MP4?

if you custom produce to MP4 with controller [player], you'll get a bunch of files, including  2 html files, and the MP4 files; you can play the MP4 by itself [host it where ever and link to it], but any interactive content [TOC, hotspots, captions, quiz] will not be active; if you launch using either of the html files, you'll see the MP4 in a browser, with the TechSmith player, and interactive content will be enabled; you must host all the files together if you want the interactive content

if you're referring to putting a link within the video, you need to use a hotspot set to URL property

Today I updated my iPhone 7 from iOS 10 to latest iOS 11.2.1. Now whenever I am trying to open the Mp4 Viewer app it only displays a white blank screen at the startup and few second later just closing itself automatically...Guess the developer still havent updated the app to. Or is the problem something else can anyone please help?

Update: I uninstalled the app > did soft reset > reinstalled the latest version and it's working just fine again :) Thanks for the solution.

MP4 is a raw video format.  Anytime you ever see any interactivity "around" an MP4 video is because of the "wrapper" that is playing it.

Plain and simple.
