I truly apologize if this has been asked/answered previously. I have not been able to find it.

I have found several postings here and elsewhere that address the subject of the "Start Screen Thumbnail".

However, most either reference either "MP4/SWF – Flash Output" as noted here:

http://feedback.techsmith.com/techsmi...
http://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-cam...

or reference ScreenCast.

I am using Camtasia Studio 8 to produce .MOV files (format is required by my organization).

As has been noted elsewhere in this forum, the resulting file has an "icon" that appears to be some random location within the video (CK's posting here --> http://feedback.techsmith.com/techsmi...). Sometimes that result is fine... other times, not.

After spending the better part of a morning with this forum and internet search engines, my question still is:

"How can I change the 'icon', 'poster image', 'Start Screen Thumbnail' or whatever is the current/correct terminology to an image of my choosing when creating a .MOV file?"

If this cannot be done, am I stuck producing some other format and then using some other tool to then convert the results to .MOV?
