Crop handles hidden behind the crop dialog box

When you select the crop button, the handles appear for you to crop it. In order to make the crop take effect, for some reason you make us select the Crop button in the popup dialog box. Sometimes this popup blocks the crop handles and you can't crop the image.  Either remove this popup or put it someplace else. Why do we need it at all? I can't even move this popup out of the way. Ridiculous. Why take a simple crop function and mess it up?

Hi Soph - thanks for reporting this annoyance in how the controls work. Our UX designer took a look and wrote up a bug report for the engineering team. It looks like the issue happens when the Snagit editor window is sized pretty small, so if you can make your window larger that might be an interim solution?

Yes. It is crazy you cannot select the bottom crop handle! When will this be fixed in 2018 version?

Yeah... the problem is still with us in Snagit 2019 and is still very aggravating.  As for the interim "solution" of increasing editor window size:  I don't want Snagit occupying my whole desktop.  It is supposed to be a side helper.  I need that space for other things - not a tool.
