Media and library assets formerly 'previewed' directly on the canvas in CS8; it now appears that CS9 runs a preview of any selected files in a separate pop-up window. This would be fine, however this window appears directly over the program, partially blocking the canvas, menus and timeline... it cannot be 'dragged and scaled' to otherwise reduce its size. The only scaling option is for full screen viewing.
Now, it is possible to drag this window 'out of the way' and onto a second screen which I could get used to, that's IF CS9 remembered the relocated windows position, which it does not; opening a new file for 'preview' places the window directly over the center of the program again.
Is there an option for previewing media directly on the canvas (CS8 style) or is there a way to further reduce (think corner drag, custom resize) this preview window?
Can we get CS9 to remember and open the preview window in the last user-defined position?
Thanks for your time.
