Allow Users To Ctrl-Click Multiple Callouts and Copy or Move Them as A Group.
(I often have the same set of perfectly sized callouts that need to be used again in another clip, Often just on the other side of a Cut...)

Evan,

Thanks for the suggestion. In the scenerio you mentioned, where a set of callouts bumps up against a cut line, I understand how this would be useful.

Thanks for giving the context of the problem with your request. This helps us understand which solutions would work, and how they might fit into the product.

We will consider this request for a future version of Camtasia Studio. I'll mark this thread as such.

Hi Evan,

I’m happy to announce that in our latest version (Camtasia Studio 8.0.0) we now offer the functionality that you requested! Here’s a quick list of what you can do and a short video showing it all off:

- Multi-Select any media (Video, Audio, Callouts, Images) via Ctrl+Click (or Click+Drag for Marquee Selection) and copy/paste them at the playhead via Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V
- Multi-Select any media via Ctrl+Click and group them together via Ctrl+G to move them together as a single media (you can also ungroup by selecting the group and hitting Ctrl+U)
- Once your media is grouped, the group as a whole can be copied and pasted as well.
- You can also rename your group by double clicking on the group name or right clicking on it and choosing “Rename Group”

Multi-Select and Drag Media

Group and Ungroup Media

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!
Brad
