Cursor Animation in camtasia 9

in camtasia 8 i have cursor effects what i can place exactly on the timeline (for example for 3 seconds) in Camtasia 9  i can place the effect only on the whole video

You can twirl open the small triangle at the bottom of the video you applied the effect to and drag the ends of the effect to control the duration of the applied effect.

You could split the video twice and add a cursor animation to a section of video that way as a shortcut.I wouldn't recommend using it a lot. It shouldn't create any problems if you use it occasionally. To many cuts can lead to problems at times so it's best to avoid unnecessary ones.


You can also apply animation changes to the cursor by hitting "Shift + A" That will apply the arrow you are familiar with to the video clip and you can apply changes to the cursors properties.

You can adjust the cursor affect by dragging the end of the effect.



Each dot on the effect is where you clicked during recording.



So you can drag the ends of the cursor effect to encompass only one or multiple dots.

You can also apply the cursor effect more than once and adjust it if you want different effects at different clicks (dots).
