Cursor effect for handheld devices

A video created on an iPad was imported in Camtasia. The video shows a few steps to follow when using a certain app. It would be nice to have an option in Camtasia which simulates a 'cursor' effect so for viewers of the video it is clear that buttons and options are 'pressed' in the app (since no mouse has been used and every action like clicking buttons or options is done directly by touching the iPad screen). Current workaround is using highlighting. This works for now, but the 'cursor' effect could take this to a next level.

A couple of mouse click visuals would be nice.

For the mean time maybe something like these will work.

If you would like give these a try you can download them here and add them to your library.

You can resize and adjust the speed to suit you needs.

Hi Dubie, thanks for the gestures,. It looks like I am not able to import the file into my library, a message appears that the library was created in a newer version of Camtasia?

Currently I am using Camtasia 9.1.2 and it seems I have to purchase the new version 2018?

If you change the file extension from .libzip to .zip you can open it like a standard zip file.
There will probably be folders, thumbnails and videos. You want the videos of the gestures.

Hey Ronald

This libzip should open in Camtasia 9

Extract the zip file,  then open the folder and just drag and drop the .libzip file into your Camtasia 9 library.

The other link above was bundled up in Camtasia 2018
My bad

Hi Dubie, no problem. In the mean time I managed to import the files by changing the .libzip extension to .zip, as Joe pointed out to me.

Thanks!
