On Jan 1 2019 our older version of snagit rec'd a update that defaults a time and date stamp on every screen shot.  Interesting that an older version, 11.4.3, which no longer can get tech support can get updates, for which we can no longer get support for.

Guess I need to finish my request:  How do I remove the default time and date stamp from the screen captures?

Open the capture window and set all the settings to that way you want them and click the new preset from current settings and save to whatever you want to name it.

Then use that when you don't want the time stamps etc.

Thank you.  The Global HotKey was updated on Jan 1 2019 to have a date and time stamp.  It's HotKey was the PRTSC key.  I changed the Image Hotkey to be PRTSC key and changed the Global Hotkey to be something I would not normally use. That worked.
