Deselecting Selected Clips by Dragging and Holding Ctrl

In Camtasia 8, after selecting a bunch of clips, you could also hold CTRL and deselect from that line up by dragging the blue highlight square over the desired clips. It was really handy. I reached out about it back when this was initially released, and I was told that it was a feature that was likely left out by mistake. However, despite these numerous updates, I've yet to see it make a return.

This is something I use quite often, because zooming in and out of a project with a lot of cuts can sometimes cause the program to lag, I tend to use the "Select All Media on Track" feature for big edits and then deselect the few clips I don't want edited. Unfortunately, currently the only way to deselect from a selected group is to hold CTRL and click each individual clip. It was so much easier when I could just drag the blue square. Please bring this feature back!
