Thanks for your help everyone!

I have to admit that I was expecting a simpler answer as most programs that integrate with explorer offer a settings option to disable the integration.  I am a little disappointed that SnagIt does not offer this and I think it would be a great feature for the next version.

Investigating further, I found that if I "Modify" the SnagIt installation, I have the option to remove the integration.  Note that the repair option does not provide the menu below.

Thanks again,

+1 Here. I like the way WINRAR does it. Not only can you choose whether or not to integrate, you can choose WHAT gets integrated and whether the items are on the context menu or  cascaded under one entry.

IF you need to clean up your system, Nirsoft has a lot of utilities that will do that easily. If you get the windows control center (Free and optionally portable) it will get all the Nirsoft, Microsoft and other utils and keep them updated

These utilities WILL TRIP OFF YOUR VIRUS SCANNER mainly because it includes  things that will recover passwords, product keys and more. They are safe

Yeah toby ,

Most people don't chose "Custom Install" when they install their software.
They just go the "Express" route and get stuck with every little feature imaginable and some undesirable ones as well.
But unless your really apprised as to what you should be excluding. Custom installs can work against you.
