SnagIt 13. Please put Crop back as it was. The new way is slow and takes forever. It's terrible.

Hate the new toolbar. Slow and I like to get to work. Put it back like it was.

Have cursor default to "Select." I hate having to change it when I change images.

When I save an image, at top of page, * is still visible.

Back for more as I discover things. Thanks.

Oh, I know it sounds negative but I love SnagIt. Love the "Save As" option (ctrl 2).

Hello,

I wanted to address your comment about the Crop function. We did add some added functionality there, but overall, crop works the same way.
  1. Select the crop tool.
  2. Drag a selection on your canvas of what to keep.
  3. Click Crop. That's it. Only now, we brought the final click stage closer to your mouse cursor so you don't have to move up to the top of the screen again.

Also, we realize there will be a learning curve for this new version. There is a new UI, new tools, and new workflows to get to know. While we have lots of videos and tutorials to help people over the hump, a lot of people prefer to discover the new workflows on their own which might take them a bit longer to get up and going.

Overall, for anything new, it takes a dedicated time investment to see if it will be of benefit to you. For some who can/want to invest the time, they will find the investment paid off with new features and better overall workflow for their daily tasks.

However, for those who like the version of Snagit they are using, that is perfectly fine as well. We know people are busy and don't always have the need or time to learn something new.

For reference, here is our video tutorial page. For those wondering about the new interface, new features, etc. check them out! And, as always, the new Snagit is free to try for 15 days. No monetary investment is needed up front.
