Display Cursor Spotlight and Keystrokes While Recording?

Is there a way to activate the "Cursor Spotlight" effect while recording?

I'm looking for functionality like Mousepose on the Mac. When I record my class lectures, it would be nice to highlight things as I'm talking. Same goes for keystrokes -- it would be so helpful to have the ability to activate and deactivate keystroke visibility while recording.

Thank you in advance for any tips!

Camtasia recorder does not have those options.

A little utility that you might want to check out is PointerFocus

It can do those things while you are recording plus more.

I just discovered the Logitech Spotlight Wireless Presentation Remote.
Instead of being a laser pointer, it uses your computer screen arrow / highlighter / spotlight so that you "paint your canvas" during your lecture (i.e. Camtasia screen capture). Et voila, you've just saved several hours of annotations afterwards. There are options to alter colors, width of highlight, size of arrow, etc., and it also includes a timer that vibrates the remote to let you know to finish.
I like it, it's okay.
Having said all that, other lecturers whom I film are not at ease with its lag, and their difficulty in finding the arrow pointer. So their annoyance is a "price I am willing to pay" (Lord Farquad in Shrek) for the time saved in post-production.
