The new public folder display pixilates the icons and cuts off the titles and I do not see a way to improve the display or navigation for this folder: http://www.screencast.com/t/ykNPfgFy

Hi Stu,

Thank you for this feedback. We've received similar sentiment about titles being cutoff a few times, and it's something we are definitely looking into. If you don't mind, could you tell me a little more about what you would like to see in the library? Another option, at least while you are logged in, is to use the Details view. Admittedly, this only helps you and not your viewers.

I am curious about the icons you mentioned. Are those pixelated prior to being added as thumbnails in your library? When I download the images, they still appear pixelated.

Thanks!

Guy

Thanks for sharing that with me, Stu. The issue is coming from the thumbnail images being scaled. Thumbnails on Screencast.com are displayed at 100 x 100 pixels. The original images you are using are 2717 x 2717 pixels. Forgive me if this is something you're already familiar with, but when images are displayed at a size that is different from their natural pixel dimensions, they often become pixelated. The greater the change in size, the greater distortion. If the icons were made in a vector image editor, you could reproduce the artwork for the images at 100 x 100 pixels and then upload them to Screencast.com and they should appear crystal clear.
