Hello,
I have a question. Is it possible to export the video tutorial so that it is divided into individual "steps" and after the given step, the video is paused so that the viewer has the opportunity to perform it and then can give the play for the next part of the tutorial?

Hi Martin, you certainly can.

Take a look at Hotspots: https://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-camtasia-add-interactive-hotspots-to-a-video.html

Including a Table of Contents might be useful too. You can either do this using Markers or create your own with Hotspots.

Be aware that when export you will need the TechSmith SmartPlayer for the interactivity to work. The above video shows you how.

I hope this helps,

Jayne

Jayne's advice is correct; and it's easy to do

here is an example of a series of short, related  software tutorials that behave the way you describe ...

CBP Desktop Tutorials

this is a multi-level menu; click to drill down as desired; each clip will play, then pause at end, offering a hotspots that enable further navigation
