Does Camtasia Studio V. 8.6.0 Create MP4 files using Audio Codec Aac?

I'm using a broadcasting service to broadcast MP4's that I've edited and rendered using Camtasia Studio. There's been a tech issue where the broadcast skips badly and their tech support suspects that the video I'm trying to broadcast is not encoded properly - which is causing the problem. They say I need to be producing the mp4 file so it's encoded using video H.254 and audio Aac. (I really don't even know what that means).

I'm not a geek (it's a term of endearment), I'm using Camtasia Studio V8.6.0 - and I'm not doing anything fancy . Just simple edits, then producing the video as a standard size.

Is there a setting or something that I need to check, or change, in order for the video's I create to use H.254 and audio Aac?

Does the source recording file make any difference? (The orginal is a zoom meeting recording that I then edit)

Do I need to upgrade the version?

I've solved the issue. Using a different video player (VLC Playe) I was able to see the encoding details and it was H.264 (my post had a typo) and Aac.
