Does Snagit features "click effects" of the cursor?

I'm about to buy a screen recorder. Snagit seems to be fine BUT may lack one fucntion I urgendtly need: To show the behavior of the mouse buttons - left click + right click shoul't be recognized by the audience.

I will cap some training videos from our software training. The position of the cursor will be shown, but I need additionally to see, if I clicked right or - left ;p

Does Snagit feature THIS specific function or do I have to buy from another supplier?
I would prefer the Snagit :)

Hi there

SnagIt only records what you see on the screen. It does not add any effects. I poked around on Google and see there is some software that does add a visual click as well as other effects to Windows mouse actions.

I did not try it, but you may want to experiment.

With SnagIt, all you can do as far as editing is to cut sections out from the recorded video. You will likely find that to be too limiting. I'd definitely recommend trying Camtasia.

Cheers... Rick :)

Hi Ralf,

Sorry, but Snagit does not support this feature.

We also sell Camtasia Studio which supports the click effects you're looking for, and it's a fully-featured video editing suite. If you're interested there is a free trial available.

IN windows, go to mouse feature and add trails. Better than nothing
