The ability to drand and drop an image from the Recents Tray into an external app is brilliant.  It was a "So what?" feature for me at first but now I use it dozens of times a day.

Please can we have the same capability with items in the library?  At the moment you have to extract a library item onto the Recents Tray and then drag and drop it externally.  It'd be nice to be able to drag it directly from the library.

Also when making a custom stamp. it would be useful to be able to drag and drop the item from the Recents Tray into My Stamps

Paul, I CAN drag out of the library and into an open document.
Recents tray to my stamps? I am misunderstanding as stamps don't normally appear in the recents tray UNLESS you drag them in from Windows Explorer ... which is a great way to accidentally delete stamps

I think for a new stamp you have to save it out and move it into the Snagit Stamps folder ... that is how I did it anyway. I am open to a better way

Just as long as nobody decides to "go postal"! I'm good.

LOL, hopefully nobody. But my mind goes to the post office when I hear the word "stamps".

This must be another random problem with SnagIt (another example - video capture stalls first time I invoke it, but works the second time) because having rebooted I can drag and drop from the library now.  WT..?  This release is so unstable.

Ok so that leaves us with the ability to drag and drop to the Stamps folders. To clarify - it's precisely to avoid saving out a stamp and then importing it.
