I want to distribute (align) step callouts vertically in Snagit

I need to create a long list of steps with arrows pointing out to the right.  I want the steps aligned and vertically distributed (and keep the arrows in the same middle location of each step).  What's the easiest way?  It seems to be missing vertically distribute altogether.

It also seems to be missing a duplicate feature... I can copy/paste and renumber to keep the arrows in place, but I still have to manually align and distribute.  This seems basic.

Snag it doesn't create bullet lists very well.  It can be done but it's a bit time consuming.  Rather then telling you how I made a video which shows how I would do it.

I noticed that my arrow wasn't horizontal in the video.  It's easy to make it so by pressing the shift key when it is first created.  I forgot to do so.

Hi Heather - I'm not sure if this would help but the latest version of Snagit has a step tool that should help you skip the steps of duplicating and renumbering. Each time you click you get the next number in sequence, at the same size as the last callout.

Thanks, but I don't think I was clear.  I am using the step tool.  There is no way to distribute them vertically in a list.  I think this is a very big oversight.  Since you can align, you should also be able to distribute.

Ah, I understand now. That's a really good point. The align > top | middle | bottom feature seems a bit random when you you're using it on step callouts. Here's a video showing what it does now. I'll make sure the product owner takes a look. Thanks for letting us know what you need!
