Edit marker names in Camtasia 9.0.1

When I insert a marker in 9.0.1, I have to move my mouse to the far end of the screen and click the in properties area to rename it. Is there a quicker way to just name it on the timeline without having to access my mouse? I don't want to have to right-click on it and choose rename either. I want to be able to name it the moment I add it to the timeline.

HA-HAAA-HA!!!  Jim, this is another so-called "enhancement" to Camtasia 9 that we lost from Camtasia Studio 8 where we used to be able to simply position the play head, then hit the M key on your keyboard to place the marker and then simply type in a name for the marker and hit ENTER.

This is but ONE OF MANY bugs, I mean,  "enhancements" to Camtasia 9.

Take my advice and go back to using Camtasia 8.6...or wait until TechSmith releases Camtasia 10 and see if it is any better.  As it turns out, Camtasia 9 is TechSmith's version of Windows 8.1.

this was reported as an issue during CS9 beta testing; TechSmith has acknowledged that the issue is valid, and that they are planning to fix it

Appears to be just sloppy interface design, as Shift-M followed by 4 tabs allows you to type the marker text as before and then 1 tab returns you to the video player.  But this just kills my workflow as this is key to rapidly producing screen recordings.
