Hello there,
I use Camtasia 3 to record my gaming gameplay, and before you state I should use X program, Camtasia is one of the few program I can use to record while I game and have no lag.
Anyways, is there an effective way to edit the video once ended. I don't want to render the video because I can invest the time into editing.
For example, I record a great gameplay, and I stop the recording. Usually I save and open the video in the Camtasia editor. Is there any way for me to just go directly to Adobe Premier as soon as I finish the recording?

In Camtasia for Windows you can right click a .trec file in the media bin and select "Extract recording  contents" and you get a .avi file and separate audio file if you recorded a microphone and system audio.

You can also record direct to avi but your limited to one sound track.

I don't own a MAC so my advice could be wrong. But I think the programs are similar at this level.
