Matt,

That thread bounces across multiple issues. Please be more specific, it's not clear whether you want:
  • Video file name to appear or not appear when played? (player issue)
  • Change file properties at the operating system level? (command-i in Finder)
  • Something else?

As in PC version, I would like to update EXIF meta-data on the output video file. See Production Wizard > Video Information Options on PC Version. https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/s3_images/1526255/RackMultipart20161220-13346-69t1gj-tmp2_inli...

So as you've discovered, that panel doesn't exist on the mac version. As mentioned on the thread you quoted, I've used VLC  (amazing program) to edit metadata. Exiftool is an open source metadata editor, I've never used it. Premiere is supposed to have a Metadata panel but I can't find it.
Consider this an enhancement request to the product. Per Support Request #662590, Ederlyn A. asked me to submit the enhancement request herein.

While you suggestions may work, these are a work arounds. I would formally request functional parity with the PC version for this capability.
Thanks!
