Editing clip speed.

Regarding the handling of clip speed: if I have to remove a clip speed from a clip the clip is resized to its original size. This then causes ALL of the other clips to be pushed up a track disturbing the flow of the project. Is there any way to stop this from occurring? Better, in my opinion, would be to simply push the other clips on the same track along to the right!

I can reproduce the behavior you describe; but it seems easy to just move the clips above the lengthened clip back to the right

one benefit of the current behavior is that it graphically shows the affect that removing clip speed has on the rest of the project

does the current behavior cause some specific difficulty?

Hi, thanks for replying. No, it's not a specific problem - just annoys me and can create additional work - moving the clip back into into place then deleting the track. Or having to move the clip into a space where I can then extend it. This is my preferred solution but then I have to remember to do it.
Pushing the clips on the same track back and then attaching the tracks to the newly adjusted track so they adjust with it would produce a better work flow - but this can also produce other problems if absolute placement is important.  Anyways, it is not a major problem - the benefits of Camtasia far outweigh my irritation with this point.
