Editing Dimensions 1920x1080 Native Lags when Set to 1280x720 (V8.4.1)

I have found that when I import a video with native dimensions 1080p I must set the Editing Dimensions to match or the CPU Usage approach 100% (even that doesn't seem to help completely). My System is below:

NVIDIA QUADRO 5010M
i7-2760QM CPU @ 2.4GHz
16 Gbytes of RAM
RAID-0
Video Resides on WD USB3 MY-BOOK (I haven't tried 1080p on my RAID)
Windows 7 Ultimate x64

It appears Camtasia doesn't make use of the CUDA cores available, because editing at the Production Resolution is almost intolerable.  Am I missing something, or does Camtasia unaware of GPU capability and relies on CPU?

Hey Sierratech,

You are correct, yes. We currently do not make use of any CUDA cores. We use a bit of the gpu, but not nearly to this extent. I'll pass this feedback along!
