Editing the XML code of camproj files

I have a bunch of images and videos, which I would like to combine to a Camtasia MP4 diashow. I want to have a Hotspot after each image, so that I can decide when to continue during the presentation. In principle, I could do that by hand using the metaeditor in Camtasia. However, since the time (3 sec) and the hotspot (click at the end of the 3 sec to continue) are similar for each image, I would be interested to know whether or not one can edit the XML code in the camproj file (or create a camproj file from scratch) for such a task. Is there any documentation available for the XML coding of camproj files?

Thanks a lot, AndreasĀ

you can add/edit hotspots by editing the config.xml file, but why go to all that trouble; if you need to add in a lot of hotspots, the time to edit in the tags, coordinates, and time values could be substantial, and error prone

your fastest and easiest way is to assemble a project on timeline from the images and videos, add in the hotspots, then produce

Thanks a lot for your quick reply and help, kayakman!! I thought about having a perl script which reads the name of the images (few 100s) and then creates from that list by iteration a final camproj file. But you might be right that that is too complicated... Cheers, Andreas
