Enhancement Request: Allow right-click mouse option to switch between Pan and Edit mode

When working on a single monitor environment while creating videos you (might) need to use the Pan option (at the top of the screen) to reposition the canvas.
Whenever you then want to select any object you first need to click the Edit icon also at the top of the screen. This is causing a lot of mouse movements for this particular action.
It would be nice if there was a shortcut for switching between Pan and Edit, by for example using a right-click option when the state is in Pan mode.

Not a bad Idea.

Are you aware that holding down the space bar switches you into pan mode for as long as you hold it down?

Regards,Joe

Thanks Joe, I was not aware of that. I just checked and indeed works well. It would help me for now at least. My suggested option would not be required anymore.

Actually,I wasn't really thinking my answer through. You need a right click menu so a right click pan probably wouldn't be the best option anyway.
For future reference, most editing programs use the space bar for panning.
