I have been asking for years for you guys to include an equation editor.  With this pandemic, this feature is more needed than ever.  I really need the ability to type in accessible equations in the quizzes, and not a jpg or png.  PLEEEEEEEEEEASE consider this.

Unfortunately, I do not have an answer for you, but I can say the product team at Techsmith tends to be more responsive when you post feature requests as ideas. I know this is technically a problem for you, but re-posting it as an "Idea" to add the functionality in a future update would probably get you more visibility.

You might want to investigate using Adobe Captivate. I believe Captivate offers an equation editor (Math Magic?)

Excel's equation editor is pretty good, I just wish it had editable font subsets or kept a much larger list of "recently used symbols". If you want it "organized" by discipline, try WolframAlpha.com - Cats include: Algebra, Graphics, Calc & Analysis, Geometry, Differential equations, Stats, etc.

 cos (θ) = -cos( θ)

 cos (θ) = sin(θ+π/2)

∫cos (θ) = sin(θ) + c
