Eraser Tool - Anti-alias won't stay off.

Seems the anti-alias selection in the eraser tool turns itself back on after every stroke on the canvas. It used to be that it would stay off until a different eraser size was selected (which was also annoying), but this makes it very hard to use. Anyone else have this problem?

I just tried it using SnagIt 2019.

It stays off for me through several strokes. Like 35 or 40 of them.I don't usually use the eraser tool, so I can't speak as to it's past behaviour.

I can confirm that it is happening.

Just a click of the mouse on the canvas and it turns back on.

Must effect only certain computers or graphics cards.

Heres an image I erased the heck out of just now. It stayed off the whole time.

??  Don't know.

Like you I don't use the eraser tool. I usually make selections to remove something so I was unaware of the issue till now.

SnagIt 2019: I have the same problem like Quark Flux. The anti-alias selection in the eraser tool turns itself back on after every stroke on the canvas.

Someone with the problem needs to report it to tech support so they can be aware it exists.
I can't reproduce the problem, so my reporting it might not help them much.

I can't send them SnagIt's program technical data if its required to track down the issue.
Because the bug doesn't exist on my machine.

So, I also notice this is happening....
I turn off antialias, make an erase mark, and when I release the mouse, the option returns to the on position.
However, what I also noticed when I zoomed in to make my marks, the antialias option is not really off at all. It is ON in both positions.

Here is an image that has both options next to each other. They both look antialiased for me.
Overall it appears you might think you have the ability to turn off the antialiasing, but you might not. It's always on.

Anyone else??

Yep I see what you mean.

So the Anti-Alias switch is a fake LOL

This is clearly a bug.

Will you be letting the dev's know about this to implement a fix ?

Hi all,
Just to let you know, this is a known bug the dev team is aware of.

However, I don't have a date for when this might be fixed.
