When I select "Exit" from the tray icon's context menu, it hides the Jing icon and the sun, but it does not properly exit Jing; the process is still alive as a zombie process. It is however recognized as Jing process, because it prevents a new instance of Jing. The only way to exit Jing is killing the process in the task manager. Exiting via the sun's "More" button works correctly.

I have had that problem with Windows XP since day one, so I shut Jing down in the large Sun. This doesn't not happen with my Windows 7 machines, just XP.

Chris, unfortunately, we have not been able to reproduce this even after capturing different things (on XP, too). At this point, our best bet is to send you to our Tech Support team, who should respond to you within twenty-four hours. You can contact them several different ways, and can find those means on this page: http://www.techsmith.com/contact.html .
