Export multiple files from a single project - Camtasia V3 on MAC

I'm using Camtasia 3 on the MAC.

I have an hour long lecture that I recorded as a single project. I want to split that recording into 6 separate video files (MP4) of about 10 minutes each.

I understand that with the Windows version of Camtasia one is able to do this using 'markers'. However, is there an easy way to do this on the Mac version?

Not sure if I got this right, but you have a 60 minute recording in one file? So just create 6 Camtasia projects and add the recording to the media bin / place on timeline and then just use / work on the first 10 minutes in the first project and the next 10 minutes in the second project and so forth and so on. Easy!

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I was hoping there is a way to have only one project, rather than having to create multiple new projects for each video. As I mentioned, I believe the Windows version has such a feature.

Update:

Another solution, which I found quite useful, can be found at the following thread

You can export a region.  Just select the region using the green and red markers from the playhead and export.  If you put markers on the timeline at the points you want to split the lecture, the region selectors will snap to the markers when dragging. This is not required, but may help you get the sections selected more easily for exporting.  There is not a way to set up multiple sections to export at the same time though, so it is a bit of a manual process.  Easy to do, but you have to wait for the first export to finish before selecting the next section.

Yes, thanks a lot for your reply. This is a workable solution for me.
