As OneNote 2016 will not be continued, Microsoft focuses the Windows App version of OneNote and changed f.e. the Outlook export from OneNote 2016 to OneNote Online.

When will SnagIt move to OneNote online. I'd like to uninstall the old OneNote 2016. Meanwhile it remains only for SnagIt.

Don't hold your breath. Many of us are still waiting for integration of OneDrive - Personal.

I'm intrigued by the number of requests for integrations.  I use SnagIt images in all sort of weird and wonderful applications but I never use an integration.  I simply drag the image from the recents tray and drop it into the target app.  I do this even in situations where there is an integration available.

What am I missing?  What advantage does an integration have over drag and drop?

You don't have to have the target app open to begin with. Share it to the target app and SnagIt opens the app and pastes the image. There you go, one click. For me it is simply that they (TS) included an output to OneDrive for Business. Surely it couldn't have been that hard to include OneDrive - Personal. As to your dragging and dropping, what I do is 'Save As' to my OneDrive folder(s.)
