Export to Wistia

It's great that you have export to YouTube and Google, but Wistia is a great service that Screenflow can easily export to. Might as well keep up with that so people don't use that as a reason to use your competitor.

Hi Jake,

I take it you are looking for an output right from the program, right to Wistia?

Yes, just like you do for YouTube. And how your competitor ScreenFlow exports directly to Wistia.

I would like this too. It might seem silly, but when you use a product like Screenr (shutting down), you want an alternative that is just as lightweight and easy to use for short videos. We do a lot of video for our development cycle. I'm transitioning to Camtasia and it is painful.

I use Camtasia for our sales videos as well and it's fine for that.

I use Wistia for our sales video hosting and might as well use it for our tech videos now that Screenr is going away (how about you guys buy Screenr and keep it going!).

Anyway .... I'd like a direct export as well.

I would even suggest to take this one step further. Why not integrate the possibility to create your own outputs to different video services in the Produce and Share Wizard. Google Docs and Youtube is already there so if you could include your own settings and login information to different video services there, that would be awesome.

I typically export to mp4, then upload to Wistia separately. It's not critical, but it would save time to have this option.

Peter, I think that would be more difficult than it sounds. It's not simply an authentication issue. Matt, that's exactly what I do right now as well, but having a quicker route is definitely a plus.

We too need Westia in Camtasia. They are becoming better than Vimeo and YouTube.

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback.

I just wanted you to know our Camtasia product team sees your requests for Wistia integration.

While we don't have Wistia integration now, we did partner up with Wistia to create a best practices video. You can find that on this Wistia page:
https://wistia.com/doc/exporting-guide

If others feel a Wistia output is needed, please post your request and support here!
