Exporting only some of the audio content

I have all of the voiceover on a single track, but I also have some background sound in the intro and outtro, which are groups that are on a different track. I want to export the voice so I can level the volume, but I don't want the background sounds to be affected. Exporting the audio exports all of the audio and the background sounds end up at higher volume after leveling.

I could group all of the voice segments, save it to the library, import it into a new project and export it to a .wav file, but that's pretty cumbersome.

I guess I could delete the intro and outtro, export the audio, then back out the changes, but again, that's not an ideal procedure.

Am I missing an easier way to do this in CS9?

Thanks

Brian

If you turn the background track off and go to "Share Menu" then "Export audio only"
you should get only the narration audio exported.

Perfect, that works like a charm! I knew there had to be an easy way to do this.

Many thanks!
