F10 button does not stop a recording from the screen. only way to stop is to bring mini record screen up but it appears in the final video

Also, if you are running another program at the same time. And that program uses F10, that can interfere sometimes as well. If that's the case you can change the Stop Hot Key to something else.

Clicking on the Image will enlarge it and make it easier to see.

Hopefully you do realize that you are also able to split that video and remove the bit where you actually recorded clicking the stop button. ;)
