Fade in and out from Callouts in Camtasia 9.1.5

I desperately try to fade in and out a simple text callout in Camtasia 9. In version 8 this wasn't a problem, but in version 9 my input for the fade in and fade out time is simply ignored. The callout appears suddenly and disappears as well.

Does anyone have an idea?

Those setting fade the drop shadow in and out. Not the entire callout.

You can add a Fade Transition to both ends of the the callout. Which is the quickest and easiest way to get there.

Or, apply animations and fade the opacity in and out.

Thank you for your answer. What a step back compared to the old version. There was no problem at all.

as a shortcut, select the callout on timeline, use shift-T to add the last used transition type to the beginning and end of the callout; beforehand, in preferences, set the transition duration to something that will fit your callout durations, like 1/2 second; you can change the transitions duration, after placement, by dragging their free ends

once you get used to the workflow, it goes real fast

The better solution is to fall back to Camtasia 8
