Fade In/Out Images in Camtasia 8

I'm trying out Camtasia 8 - you're definitely on the right track with this version! I would like to be able to fade in / fade out images I've added without having to create a manual animation to do it on every single image... such a waste of time to do this manually. The software allows you to fade in / out callouts automatically but not imported graphics... very annoying.

Hi Dustin,

If you select the image on the Timeline and press the "T" key, it will auto add the last used transition to both the beginning and end of that clip. You can also select multiple clips (control + click, or click and drag to select multiple clips on timeline) and use the same "T" key to apply transitions to all selected.

Hope this might save you some time.

Agreed, that is a great tip but it would be nice to have the fade in/out control as well to have a bit more consistency in the UI.

I agree with Matt... the fade in/out control (a la callouts) would have been more appropriate. Maybe in the next update?

VERY neat trick.  Of course it would be great to be able to apply special effects to new images easily on the fly, but this is a perfect quickie method for fades!
