Fades laggy on youtube?

I've been working on a lyric video where i'm using a lot of fade ins and outs.

When I render it, the file plays nice and smoothly on my computer but when I upload it to

youtube all the fades and transitions become choppy, like the fps is lower and they look just bad.

I render the video in 30 fps and it's still 30 fps on youtube.
Any help? Thanks

Did you give the video time to be fully processed?
Sometimes it takes a long period of time before You Tube fully re-encodes the video and it plays back smoothly.

Well it can be played in 1080p after a few minutes already, does it mean that it's processed?

Usually yeah.
You Tube doesn't preserve 100% of the quality you upload. It varies how much quality is lost based on content.
You may need to do a custom production. Crank the quality slider up to 75% and upload a video manually.
See if that fixes it.
Some people use 100% quality. To me its overkill. File size and Upload times go through the roof if you don't have a very fast internet connection. Which I do not.

Thanks for answering Joe, yeah i'm already using the custom production with 75% quality, the video looks perfect on my pc but even when played in 1080p on youtube the fades are very choppy and low quality. Any other things in the production settings I should take a look at to improve the youtube playback?

Hi beybus;
Do you have a link to the video on YouTube so we can take a peak at it? Could you also please upload the MP4 that looks good on your PC to Screencast.com and then share that link as well?

Here's the screencast video, as you can see everything is nice and smooth:

And here's youtube, all the fades and transitions are choppy, laggy and blurry:

I used the same source video for both, 1080p, 30 fps, 75% quality.
