FCKEditor problem with SnagIt Extension

I have an issue in Google Chrome with the SnagIt Extension installed.  When I go to a page on our website (hosted on the SchoolFusion CMS platform) and try to edit something using the CMS's article editor, FCKEditor (not sure what version, and I don't think I can change it), the editor does not show any existing content to be edited and the editor buttons are visible, but won't respond to clicks.  I discovered that if I disabled the SnagIt (Extension) in Chrome, the FCKEditor then works perfectly.  Not sure where to turn with this one.  Anyone else find issues with the Chrome SnagIt extension causing some trouble for for the functionality of in-page elements?

It's possible that the extension control panel is interfering with your CMS page; on a small number of pages, we have seen conflicts. If we can find a way to access SchoolFusion, we will try to replicate it and figure out how to work around the issue, if possible. In the meantime, temporarily disabling the app while working in the CMS is one workaround (though probably annoying, sorry for that).

We'll try to work on the interference, thanks for reporting it!

Hi J,

While researching this issue, I found FCKeditor was discontinued after version 2. The current version is CKEditor. Here's the information I found from ckeditor.com -> http://ckeditor.com/support/faq/fckeditor

This might not be helpful depending on your support staff, but I thought it would be good to pass along.
